Club Payments and Fees
All LTUTKD Direct-debit Memberships offer a 7-day cooling period, in which the party may cancel without 30-day notice. If the party is within the cooling period and decided to cancel their membership, the party will receive a full refund of membership payments debited. Annual upfront memberships will also include a 7-day cooling period, with the same terms as the direct debit memberships. No refunds will be given after the 7-day cooling period.
All late payments will incur a $10 late fee, based on every rejected payment. If a member cannot meet payment requirements, they may approach a member of the Executive committee (Club President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer).
Any overcharged member accounts will be dealt with by the executive committee on a case-by-case basis. If this has occurred to you, please contact the Executive committee as soon as possible.
Membership cancellations and suspensions must be notified to the executive committee 30-days prior to the date of suspension/cancellation. All members must sign a Cancellation/Suspension form.
A suspension/cancellation due to a medical reason will need to have a medical certificate provided. In this case, the member will be offered suspension/cancellation with no 30-day notice required. Any necessary refunds will be based on a case-by-case investigation.
LTUTKD Memberships are not affiliated with Australia Taekwondo Memberships. The memberships are two separate entities. All inquiries regarding Australia Taekwondo Memberships must be dealt through Australia Taekwondo directly. For more information, visit austkd.com.au.
Injuries
Due to the high-impact nature of Taekwondo, there is a risk of members injuring themselves during training. La Trobe Taekwondo takes safety of our members as a major priority, we would not ask members to endanger themselves during training sessions, or strain beyond the capabilities of the student. If you feel you are at a risk of injuring yourself during training, please reach out to the Coach that is taking the class for the day, or the next nearest committee member. Any injury sustained during classes, competitions, and other LTUTKD based events will be recorded for the club for insurance purposes.
