Membership frequently asked questions

Do I have to have any martial art background? 

No, our club is for anyone! If you have any experience in WTF (World Taekwando Federation) taekwondo, you can carry on training at your current belt level.

If you practice ITF (International Taekwando Federation) taekwando or any other martial art, you will start training as a white belt. 

I am under 18, can I join?

Yes

I am not affiliated with La Trobe University, can I join?

Yes, we have several members who arent part of LTU

Am I allowed to wear my own gears?

Yes, however if you are representing La Trobe in any competition, you are required to buy and wear our dobok.
