The Band and Strings Committee are excited to announce a new program for our Strings Ensemble.
About the Beginner CELLO Group Lessons
This program allows students the opportunity to learn how to play a cello in a small group lesson.
- The group has a maximum number of 6 students
- Each lesson is 1/2 hour with our fabulous cello conductor
- You are not required to have a tutor
- The program is for Term 1 and Term 2
- The program fee is $320
- You are required to bring a cello to lessons. You can either hire or purchase a cello.
- It is important to practice daily, however, 5 minutes is all you need to start with.

Students will then progress to our Strings Ensemble.
Finding the right cello size
It is essential to have the right cello size for your child. Cello students are required to obtain their own instrument when joining the Strings Program, either purchase or hire. We recommend the Sydney Strings Centre for your cello requirements.
