Impulse Training Weekend  July 5 - 6   Cairn Curran

It's that time of the year again where we look forward to the annual Impulse Training Weekend. Cairn Curran is again the host, the dates are the 5th & 6th July. Last year was terrific to have Mark Bulka as a Senior Coach, however this year we will be going back to the regular format of past weekends, where we will have a fun time whilst leading Impulse sailors will be providing coaching. It will also be a great social time.

A word of warning that for the first time we will be limiting boat numbers to 30 and we will also be requiring bookings so we can cater.  Spaces will fill in quickly so don't procrastinate, get your entries in!  Book through TryBooking:
https://www.trybooking.com/DBUPH
Entry is just $50.00 which includes meals and one nights camping. For those who choose to come up Friday, we will again book the hotel for dinner and there will be an additional $12.00 camping fee, paid directly to the club.  Entrants must be members of the association.

Altona Nationals Update

The Altona National Title organisation is well on the way with the club locking in the camping on site option.  We also have a new major sponsor who we are very proud to announce as Riley Yacht Fittings.   Vic Survey and MD spars have also come on board.  This event should be great fun and very competitive so please get your entries in as soon as the booking page is set up.  We are hopeful of 70 boats.

Lake Boga Easter Regatta

Port Albert was the next heat, great to see 8 Impulses from 5 different clubs.  Very relaxed atmosphere, unique place to sail.  Toby said it best- "Racing here is more like orienteering than sailing!". Results:

4. Wolley, Matt Kiely.
