The International rules and regulations of the class are run by the International Cadet Class (ICC). The rules can be viewed at www.cadetclass.org
Each state appoints a class measurer who oversees the measurement of hulls, spars, foils and sails. It is also a requirement for all boats to pass a buoyancy test each year, to ensure excessive water cannot enter bulkheads of the boat if the boat tips or becomes swamped.
