About Us

The International Cadet Class Association of South Australia Inc (ICCASA) is dedicated to ensuring that children learn to sail in a safe, fun environment. The Association provides training for all levels of expertise from beginners to those who wish to compete at an international level.

In South Australia the ICCASA oversees all major class events and coaching, with the exception of club based and Musto Tri Series. The ICCASA provides a wide range of benefits to junior/youth sailors in South Australia. For a membership fee, the following events and benefits are organised by the Association and available to members:

• Start of season coached weekend
• Coached race days scheduled at Country and Metropolitan clubs from October to December
• Tillett Team selection series ( 9 races over 2 or  3 weekends)
• State team shirts for all Association members
• Affiliation Fee paid to National Body
• Coaching at Nationals (a qualified coach is appointed and supported by assistant coaches)
• State Heats (9 races over 2 weekends)
• The ICCASA is funded through membership fees, sponsorship and fundraising activities by involved parents. The majority of ICCASA's funds are spent on coaching expenses, coach boat operating costs, State team shirts, end of season presentation function, affiliation fees to ICCA and trophies.
