 If a boat is purchased new from a boat builder, there is an option for the boat to be fitted out by the purchaser. There are plenty of people who have fitted out boats in the past and are available to give advice. Talk to people who have been involved in the class to seek advice.

Although fibre-glass boats dramatically reduce the maintenance requirements, damage does occur. Boat owners have the option of home maintenance or local boat builders for repairs when required.
