Junior Fleet Fun Day!
GSC Junior Fleet Sailors are encouraged to take part in this fun School Holiday Activity.

Sailors will race from Gosford Sailing Club to Saratoga Sailing Club, stay overnight, and return the following day with an adventure race and on-water activities.

Parents are required to supervise the sailors overnight, with instructors assisting with on-water activities and safety.

The aim of the event is to:

• Encourage participation and engagement within the junior fleet

• Provide a fun development opportunity outside of normal racing

• Build confidence in longer sailing passages and teamwork

Wednesday 15 April

• 3:00 pm – Set up boats

• 4:00 pm – Briefing

• 4:15 pm – Launch boats and sail to Saratoga SC

• 5:30 pm – Arrive at Saratoga SC

• 6:00 pm – BBQ dinner, Camp/Set Up Sleeping Arrangements

Thursday 16 April

• 8:00 am – Breakfast

• 9:00 am – Briefing

• 9:30 am – Launch boats

• 10:00 am – Adventure race and activities

• 12:00 pm – Sail back to Gosford Sailing Club

• 1:00 pm – Lunch at GSC

Note: This is not an Australian Sailing accredited course and instead is conducted by the school/club/organisation, outside of the Australian Sailing framework.
