Membership:
Membership to be paid by each volleyball player to cover the running costs (paying the afflication fees to DSA and Volleyball Australia) for Public Liability and Information / Collaboration.
Each member needs to a member of the State body Association for ADG requirement.
The member can be Deaf, Hard of Hearing, CODA, Deaf Ally supporting Auslan, good attitude with Deaf people.
Membership fees to be made by bank transfer to DVA.
Local Level :
- Melbourne Volleyball Group meet Indoor Volleyball on Sundays fortnightly at Heathmont. Members regularly in touch via FB messenger group chat.
- Melbourne Volleyball group also meet Beach Volleyball at St Kilda Beach on Sundays during Summer season.
National Level :
- National Volleyball, based on DSA timeline
* Championship at ADG, coming up at Sunshine, Qld in July 2026
International Level ( note : at least 55dB or more on both ears)
- International Volleyball, based on ISDC timeline,
* Deaflympics (selections made if playing ADG), coming up in Athens 2029
* World Championship (both Beach and Indoor), mostly held in Europe.
