In 2024, the club installed an air ventilation system at our centre (funded by a grant from our federal member of parliament, the Hon Peter Khalil, MP) which assists with reducing temperatures as well as improving air circulation within the centre. However, as stated in VicSport guidelines, the club has a duty of care with respect to the health, safety and wellbeing of its members as well as visitors where excessively high temperatures are concerned. CTTC has adopted a policy where the centre will close at 11am on all days forecast to reach 38 degrees and above. Any such closures will be advertised on our website and social media as expeditiously as possible.
