CROQUET HITS THE SPOT! Add a fun, innovative element to your function.
The Canberra Croquet Club welcomes groups to use the sport of croquet to add a challenging, innovative element to a function whether it be a corporate team-building session, office Christmas Party, special event or family celebration.
Guests are taught how to hold a mallet, hit a ball, hit another ball and run a hoop. Our members will assist and offer tactics to your players - there will be much laughter, groans but above all, everyone will have fun.
See below for details including costs and availability.

Catering
The Club does not provide catering, so hirers are encouraged to arrange their own food and beverages or employ a caterer. Chairs and tables are placed under the trees so that refreshments can be taken whilst playing. NO glassware is permitted on the lawns.
On the Lawn
Ask your guests to wear flat and preferably closed-in-toed shoes - runners, sneakers are ideal. Croquet balls are unforgiving if they come in contact with feet or toes. High heeled shoes are NOT to be worn. There is a lot of bending and swinging a mallet between legs so shorts, trousers and leggings are more suitable than long skirts/dresses. Please wear a hat and liberally apply sunscreen.
Safety
Children under the age of 12 are NOT allowed on the croquet lawns or in the Clubhouse at any time other than to use the toilets. A non-participating adult must supervise the children.
Accessibility and Special Needs
The Clubhouse has two toilets - ambulant and accessible. Please advise our Hiring Co-ordinator if any of your guests have special needs as we can provide additional one on one assistance.
The Club has a defibrillator.
Parking
The Club has a small car park located between the Hyatt Hotel and Coronation Drive. Entry is via Kaye Place off Flynn Drive. Three-hour spaces are some times available at the back of the Hyatt. Paid parking is on the Albert Hall-side of the Hyatt.
