Bundaberg Celebrates World Table Tennis Day with 100-Shot Challenge Success

Bundaberg Table Tennis joined clubs and communities around the globe in celebrating World Table Tennis Day, marking the 100-year milestone of table tennis with a special Open Day on Sunday, 19 April. The free community event welcomed players and visitors of all ages and abilities to the Bundaberg Table Tennis Centre for a day of social play, coaching sessions, and one ambitious challenge, achieving 100 continuous Around the World shots as a team.

World Parkinson’s Day Open Day Brings Community Together

Bundaberg Table Tennis welcomed players, families, carers, and community members to its PingPongParkinson® World Parkinson’s Day Open Day on Thursday, 2 April. The event celebrated the positive impact that table tennis can have on people living with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions, while also providing an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the PingPongParkinson® program.

2026 NUCOLD Bundaberg Open wrapped up with 105 players from 10 clubs competing across 50 events. High-quality matches, standout Open finals, and rising young talents highlighted a fantastic weekend. Club Closure (9 March 2026) Due to Heavy Rainfall

Due to the forecast of heavy rainfall this afternoon through to the evening, all training sessions today (9 March 2026) are cancelled. Junior Training will be moved to tomorrow (Tuesday, 10 March) with the same schedule as Monday.

2025 PingPongParkinson® Tournament – Bundaberg

Bundaberg made history hosting the 1st PingPongParkinson® Tournament in Australia on 11 Sept 2025. With 7 local players and 2 from Hervey Bay, the event was more than competition — it celebrated courage, connection, and inclusion. Winners: Keith Everitt & Helen Albion. 🏓💙

2025 Bundaberg Closed Wrap-Up (5–7 September)

The 2025 Bundaberg Closed (5–7 Sept) saw 55 players contest 34 events, with thrilling highlights across junior, age, rating and open divisions. Braydon Chapman clinched his first Men’s Open Singles in a 7-game epic, Ha Bui defended the Women’s title, the Fourros dominated doubles, and rising star Janiru Hewamadduma shone with multiple wins. Thank you to all who competed—your support helps our club grow stronger each year.
