Three days of high-quality table tennis and outstanding competition
The 2026 NUCOLD Bundaberg Open Championships, held from 20–22 March, delivered an exciting weekend of table tennis, welcoming 105 players from 10 clubs across Queensland competing in 50 events.
The tournament showcased great quality matches and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the weekend. We extend our sincere thanks to all players, families, and supporters who travelled to Bundaberg, your presence helped make the event truly special.
Open Event Highlights

Men’s Open Singles
1st: Stanley Cham (Star)
2nd: Hayden Green (Star)
Stanley produced a standout performance to upset defending champion Hayden Green in a thrilling five-set match.
Women’s Open Singles
1st: Tiffany Lam (Star)
2nd: Ha Bui (Bundaberg)
Tiffany successfully defended her title with a composed and consistent performance against a strong local challenge.
Men’s Open Doubles
1st: Hayden Green & Lucas Green (Star)
2nd: Luke Anderson & Soma Sakamoto (Moreton Bay)
The Green brothers once again demonstrated their strong partnership, retaining their title with excellent teamwork and understanding.
Women’s Open Doubles
1st: Tiffany Lam (Star) & Bethany Wang (Brisbane)
2nd: Ha Bui & Hannah Sunley (Bundaberg)
The young pairing showed great composure to overcome the experienced local combination.
Mixed Open Doubles
1st: Luke Anderson (Moreton Bay) & Tiffany Lam (Star)
2nd: John Fourro & Lorraine Fourro (Bundaberg)
Another strong performance from a rising pair, overcoming the ever-consistent local veterans.
Emerging Talent on Display
It was especially pleasing to see Queensland’s young players deliver such strong performances across multiple events. Their continued development and progress are exciting to watch, and we look forward to following their journeys each time they return to Bundaberg.
