Bundaberg Rowing Club's Facilities

Town Shed – Burnett River

One of the Club’s primary facilities is the Town Shed, located in central Bundaberg along the scenic Burnett River. This shed is primarily used for training, particularly by the local school rowing programs. The Burnett River offers approximately 20 kilometres of rowable water, providing an excellent environment for skill development and daily sessions.

Bucca Facility – Kolan River

Located just 30 minutes from Bundaberg, the Bucca facility offers a picturesque and purpose-built rowing environment on the Kolan River. The weir provides around 7 kilometres of uninterrupted water, ideal for training, development camps, and hosting local, regional, and state-level regattas. The site is well-equipped with two boat sheds, a training room, and on-site accommodation featuring dormitory-style rooms for up to 100 guests. Additional amenities include a fully serviced kitchen for any catering needs and a modern amenities block, making it the perfect all-in-one venue for extended rowing events and camps.
