About

The Bundaberg Rowing Club proudly celebrated its 135th anniversary in 2023. Established in 1888, it stands as one of Australia’s oldest and most enduring rowing clubs.

Our club welcomes members of all ages and skill levels, from 13-year-olds to veteran rowers. Whether you're interested in social rowing, fitness, or competitive racing, we offer programs to suit every goal. Many local schools also operate within the club, running year-round rowing programs and utilising our facilities for training.

The Bundaberg Club operates two well-equipped facilities operrating at two locatioins. The Town Shed, located at the corner of Quay and Toonburra Streets, provides access to the Burnett River and is a popular training site for local rowers. Our second facility, situated off Longs Road in Bucca—approximately 30 minutes from Bundaberg's CBD—is a scenic and ideal venue for training sessions, regattas, and school or club camps.

Before taking to the water, we encourage all members familarise themselves with the latest version of the Club Rules. For any further information regarding the Club and other general rowing, review our BRC Handbook.
