Welcome to the Army Sailing Club Association - ASCA

ASCA membership is available to all serving Defence members that are interested in sailing. ASCA membership provides an Australian Sailing membership number mandatory for all Australian Sailing Clubs.

The ASCA is based in Sydney and operates a Beneteau First 40 from RAN Sailing Association at Rushcutters Bay. If you are based in Sydney and want to participate in events, or learn to sail, please contact a member of the committee.  No experience is required.

Each member must complete all mandatory fields in order to register. This process is designed to save valuable time for both you and the ASCA and requires all individuals to supply accurate information for Membership and Insurance compliance. You will be provided with payment instructions in your membership email after registration.

Fees are:

• $60 for general membership.  The ASCA does not make any profit on this membership; the fees are kept well below the Civilian equivalent to encourage ADF Sailing, and
• $200 for full Sydney season membership; this covers a tiny portion of Operating and Maintenance costs. 
• $20 for a Single Sail using "Sail Pass" up to a maximum of 3 sails.
