Come Sailing

As a member of the ADF you can come sailing on the Army Sailing Club yacht Rising Sun. Just imagine, a fun twilight sail after work around the most beautiful harbour in the world then back to the clubhouse for a meal and a drink. No experience necessary, just let us know you are coming, turn up and have fun.

Being posted to Sydney represents a unique opportunity to enjoy sailing. Rising Sun is the only yacht owned by the Army and is moored here in Sydney. Open to anyone in Defence, Regular or Reserve we have had complete novices become qualified skippers and others just sail for fun.
