On Sunday, 20 September 2026, Northern Beaches Hapkido Club hosted the second-ever Kids and Teens Hapkido Tournament, bringing together our young martial artists from the association. Many Northern Beaches students were there and even three Sutherland students, for a fantastic morning of Hapkido!

Starting bright and early at 9am, the event ran until 1pm and was filled with smiles, enthusiasm and plenty of action. Participants put their skills to the test across sparring, patterns and long jumping catroll, with a special demonstration by GrandMaster Geister and some of Northern Beaches’ black belts adding to the excitement.

Congratulations to everyone who participated! Simply showing up, giving it your best and supporting your fellow martial artists is something to be proud of. A huge congratulations also goes to all our award winners!

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and effort to make the day such a success. Events like these are only possible thanks to the dedication and support of our Hapkido community.

It was a wonderful day of skill, sportsmanship and camaraderie, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next year!
