2026 Little Athletics Victoria State Cross Country Championships

Under 9 - Under 17 athletes who have qualified through the Region Cross Country Championship have automatically been entered into this State compeition. Come and have a run with athletes from all over the State. Athletes have the opportunity to purchase a 2026 State Cross-Country Championships commemorative shirt to mark the occasion – athletes and their families should be extremely proud of their efforts in participating at the 2026 State Cross-Country Championship.

Athletes run the same distance as local rounds. U9/10 1500m, U11/12 2000m, U13-U17 3000m.

First 3 athletes who cross the finish line recieve medals. Athletes who place 4th to 8th will be presented with ribbons on the podium.

While it is an Individual event, there is a Teams element. The Teams event will be conducted concurrently with the Individual event and is based on the results of the first 3 athletes from each Centre across the line. The first 3 teams will recieve medals on the podium.
