Frances Mulcahy reluctantly tendered her resignation from the Sailing Committee at the February meeting. Due to ill health Frances feels that she cannot presently be relied upon to consistently contribute to club management but will continue to help out on an ad hoc basis and also to participate in club events as her health permits. On behalf of members the committee thanked Frances for her great work on the club website and social media. 

We are also very pleased to announce that we have found another woman to take on the club's Communication portfolio. Carol Lange will fill the casual vacancy left by Frances's departure until our AGM in August. Carol has returned to sailing after an extended absence to raise a family. Not long after joining the Troubadour crew our Sailing Chair Haydn Rough uncovered Carol's talent for desktop publishing when Carol volunteered to produce and publish our new course booklet. We have every confidence that the club will benefit from Carol's small business and publishing experience, and welcome Carol to the Committee.
