The Wimmera Hockey Association promotes field hockey throughout the Wimmera district of western Victoria, with member clubs based in Dimboola, Horsham, Kaniva, Nhill, Warracknabeal, and Yanac.

Competitions offered include Open, Women’s, and Mixed Under 16s, and the next generation of players are catered for through an Under 12 Development Program, which involves all six clubs.

The annual winter competition is played on Saturdays between late April and early September, with all teams at one venue each week, creating a welcoming, friendly atmosphere amongst the healthy competition between clubs.

The Dimboola and Horsham clubs host games on the synthetic turf pitch at the Dimboola Health and Fitness Centre, Kaniva and Yanac maintain dedicated grass hockey fields, and the Nhill and Warracknabeal clubs share their community’s premier sporting arenas with their local football and cricket clubs.
