Welcome to the Tasmania University Boat Club

Established in 1923

Tasmania University Boat Club Inc caters for rowers of all levels from beginners through to juniors (U19) and senior club rowers, masters (>27years) through to rowers who aspire to represent Australia.

The competitive season starts in early October and finishes with the national championships in March. Pre-season training, mostly off the water, usually starts in May.
The club has access to a fleet of new and near new boats for competition, and some older boats for beginners. 

TUBC boats from the New Town Bay Rowing Centre (NTBRC) on Marine Esplanade at New Town Bay, just a short drive from the city of Hobart. The club has its gym (largely ergos and spin bikes) on a separate site conveniently located in the city. We also have limited access to a shared gym at the NTBRC.
