Acknowledgement of Country

Spectres Softball Club acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we train, play, and gather — the land of the Ngunnawal people.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples involved in our sport and broader community.

We recognise the deep cultural, spiritual, and historical connection that First Nations peoples have to this land — long before diamonds were drawn and bases laid, these grounds held stories, traditions, and knowledge passed through generations.

As we step onto the field, whether for training, competition, or community, we do so with gratitude for the opportunity to enjoy and share these incredible spaces. We are committed to honouring this land, fostering inclusivity, and building a sporting community that reflects the values of respect, unity, and reconciliation.
