The Bridge - A musical video partly filmed at Southern Table Tennis

In late 2022 while Southern Table Tennis was having its playing surface upgraded with the laying of Taraflex, a specialised table tennis playing surface, Del Webb Explosion International band (formally Plan B) filmed a song / video at Southern Table Tennis. Rapid Fire Results - May 2026

It was great to have had a full field of 30 players competing in 3 groups. With everyone playing 9 matches there were 135 matches played in just under 3 hours. Congratulations to the winners and runners up for each of the 3 groups......

Southern Teams In TTSA Winter Competition 2026

Southern has 4 teams in the TTSA Winter Competition 2026. Teams in Division 1. 2, 3 & 7. Matches commence next week. Collectively there will be 7 home rounds of matches impacting Monday general practice nights, reducing available tables down to 6 (T1 to T6) while TTSA Winter will occupy T7 to T11. Dates impacted are outlined on the attachment.

Christmas / New Year Opening Hours

Southern will be open during its normal operating practice and social sessions across the Christmas / New Year period. This includes Monday nights (6.30pm to 10pm), Sunday mornings (9am to midday) and both Tuesday and Friday mornings (9am to midday). Southern wishes its members and those who patronize Southern Table Tennis a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

2026 Summer Competition

Our 2026 Summer competition commences on Wednesday the 14th of January and concludes Thursday the 30th of April. Entries close Friday the 27th of December.

2025 Club Championship Results

There was a great turn out for this tournament with 16 pairings for the open doubles and 35 entrants for the rating’s central singles. Congratulations to all the finalists.

State Junior Team Announced - Southern Players

TTSA has announced the Open, Youth, Junior & Para Teams to represent SA in the forthcoming Australian Championships to be held in Victoria in early July 2025. Congratulations to the 4 Southern junior players selected.
