In its March newsletter, Pickleball Tasmania announced its new mandatory membership policy, impacting everyone who plays pickleball at affiliated groups and clubs. This includes SOHO as well as Kingborough Pickleball Club, Eastern Shore Pickleball Club and Northern Suburbs Hobart Pickleball Club. Starting 12th April, clubs must ensure that all players in their sessions have a paid club membership, which comes with membership with Pickleball Tasmania and Pickleball Australia.

SOHO's current membership fees are as follows:

• Adult membership fee - $55.00 ($40.00 PAA Capitation General Member Fee + $15.00 Pickleball Tasmania Club Membership)
• Senior membership fee - $45.00 ($30.00 PAA Capitation General Member Fee + $15.00 Pickleball Tasmania Club Membership)

SOHO does not charge any extra club fee, making it the most affordable way of gaining membership with Pickleball Tasmania and Pickleball Australia, and giving our members eligibility to play pickleball at any of the affiliated groups and clubs.
