I acknowledge and agree that:

1. I am volunteering my service for the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race (RSHYR) as manage by the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania (RYCT).
2. My participation is entirely voluntary, and I will not receive payment, salary, wages, or employee benefit.
3. I understand that volunteering may involve risks, including but not limited to, working near water, vessels, moving equipment, large crowds, and adverse weather.
4. I agree to comply with all instructions, safety briefing, and policies provided by the RYCT or event official.
5. I confirm I am medically and physically able to perform my volunteer duties.

Realease of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge the RYCT, its officers, members, employees, and event partners from any liability, claim, loss, or damage that may arise from my participation, except to the extent caused by proven negligence of RYCT.

Insurance

I acknowledge that I may be covered by the RYCT's volunteer insurance for personal accident and public liability while carrying out approved volunteer duties. I understand this does not cover loss of personal property.

Consent to Use of Image

I consent to use of my name, photograph, or likeness for promotional, media, or reporting purposes related to the event.

Declaration

I have read and understood this Waiver & Release. I agree to abide by all directions and act a safe and responsible manner at all times.
