Intermediate Opti Training

For those sailors who can confidently sail their Opti and would like to learn more sailing and racing skilling. You will bring your own boat, and learn skills about:

• Sailing upwind with speed
• How to reverse your boat
• Slow boat handling skills
• How to 'kite' on the downwind

 

We have fun activities planned, including sail decorating, creating your own burgee and a beach adventure day. 

We run an 'always on' program, no matter the weather learn about sailing

Program Focus:

The Intermediate Fleet Program includes scheduled and regular coaching. Allowing you to practice and race in club and class association programs at clubs.

At Intermediate Fleet level you may remain active- for-life, and enjoy lifelong activity which can cross multiple disciplines, and class of boat or board. 

During the Intermediate Fleet Program, there is continued freesail opportunity to support further enjoyment in the sport and environment.
