The 2027 RYCT Hope Island Race is designed to give senior under 21 years old dinghy sailors experience of all aspects of sailing on a keel boat with highly experienced offshore crew in a distance race as a pathway to compete in one design, harbour, long and offshoree races.

The intention is to keep the fleet together for safety reasons during the event, so therefore will be restricted to similar style boats with experienced crew.

Boats that submit an expression of interest will be invited to enter based on that criteria.
