Join seasoned offshore experts Ed Psaltis, Julian Freeman and Steve McConaghy, as they share practical insights and lessons learned from real-life conditions and team strategies to win races.
The Panel:
Ed Psaltis (42 x RSHYR): An offshore racing specialist, handicap winner of the 1998 Rolex Sydney to Hobart, has represented Australia in the Sardinia Cup and the Southern Cross Cup. Ed has won the CYCA Ocean Racer of the year in 1999 and 2007.
Julian Freeman (35 x RSHYR): Multiple Rolex Sydney Hobart winner, Line Honours aboard Condor and Tasmania and handicap honours on Yendys and Secret Mens Business. Julian has won the CYCA Crew Person of the year in 1992 and was inducted into the Tasmanian Yachting Hall of Fame in 2015.
Steve McConaghy (25 x RSHYR): represented Australia at the 1996 Olympics as a crew member on a Soling class yacht, Steve also won the 2004 11m WorldChampionship and is fresh of a handicap win in the CYCA Sydney to Gold Coast Race aboard the TP52 Smuggler.
