Thank you for volunteering at the 2026 Australian Optimist Dinghy Championship.

Without volunteers, these events cannot happen.

Please register your name, available dates, and the role you would like to help us with.

All of the roles already have a primary operator assigned from the Organising Team, we need your help in filling the crew roster and making the event possible.

On Water Roles:

• Start boat crew:  Assist with flags, sound signals and recording.
• Mark boat crew:  Assist with setting and retrieval of marks.  
• Pin Boat Crew: Sets the outer end of the Start Line. Assist with anchoring and with recording boats that are OCS.
• Finish Boat Crew:  Assist with recording finishers.

Off Water Roles:

• Registration: Assist with the registration desk on 8 & 9 Jan.
• Measurement: Assist the measurement team checking boats and equipment on 8 & 9 Jan.
• Boat Park: Assist in the smooth flow of boats in and out of the boat park area.
• Launch Ramp: Assist in the removal of trollies when launching and return of trollies when boats return to shore,
• Canteen: Assist in helping making sandwiches and staffing the canteen at operation times.
