Founded in 2014, Rockabellas Roller Derby League (RRDL) rolled onto the scene with one mission, to build a league where everyone could belong, no matter their age, gender, or skill level.
What started as a handful of skaters in Adelaide’s south has grown into one of South Australia’s most inclusive and community-driven roller derby families.
RRDL proudly offers mixed-gender derby for both Juniors and Seniors, to train, play, and grow together across our three branches, Gawler, Southside, and Mt Barker.
We believe derby is more than a sport, it’s empowerment on eight wheels. It’s resilience, laughter, bruises, teamwork, and finding confidence in places you never knew you had it. Whether you’re skating, reffing, benching, NSO’ing, or volunteering, when you’re part of Rockabellas, you’re family. 💗🛼

RRDL is known for our cheeky energy, fierce hits, and huge hearts. We’re as serious about inclusion as we are about fun, and we’re proud to have built a space where everyone can show up as themselves, and feel celebrated for it.
We run a little differently here at RRDL, everything we do rolls back into our members. When teams fundraise, most of it goes straight back to them for team-building, bonding, and the things that keep them rolling together.
Our trainers and coaches give their time and energy to help others grow, and we do our best to give them the tools, support, and encouragement they need to thrive. From skaters to officials, every role in our league matters, and we believe that when our members thrive, our whole league rolls stronger. 💗🛼
