Child Safety
Commitment to Children's Safety and Wellbeing
At River City Cali Dance Studio, the safety and wellbeing of every child and young person is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and empowering environment where all participants feel safe, respected and supported to grow, learn and thrive.
We maintain a zero‑tolerance approach to child abuse, harm or neglect in any form. Every coach, volunteer, committee member and adult involved in our club shares responsibility for protecting children and upholding safe, positive experiences in calisthenics.
We actively listen to children and young people, value their views, and involve them in decisions that affect them. Their voices matter, and we are committed to ensuring they feel confident to speak up and know they will be taken seriously.
River City Cali Dance Studio adheres to:
- the Calisthenics Queensland Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy
- the Australian Calisthenics Federation National Integrity Framework, including the Safeguarding Children & Young People Policy
- the Queensland Child Safe Standards and the Universal Principle supporting the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
We work continuously to strengthen our child‑safe practices, educate our community, and ensure our club is a place where children feel safe, included and empowered.
This commitment is publicly displayed to affirm our responsibility to every child and family in our community.
