I understand that the organiser will remind participants to keep a proper look out and I will be mindful of my own surroundings
I will alert the organiser should a risk or hazard be identified during the course of the walk
I will advise the organiser of any mobility concerns so that we can ensure your comfort and safety during the walk.

Before we begin our walk, we would like to take a moment to go through a quick safety briefing. During our walk, we will be travelling along public footpaths and crossing public roads. We will need to navigate narrow paths, uneven surfaces, tree roots, steps, crossing roads, slippery surfaces and other hazards. It is important we all watch where we are walking and be mindful of our surroundings. We also need to be mindful of other road and footpath users as we walk and cross roads, including drivers of cars, bike riders and e-mobility device riders. It is important that we all keep a lookout and be mindful that conditions can change quickly. Our priority is everyone’s safety on the walk so if you have any medical conditions or mobility concerns, please let us know before we set off. And if you have any safety concerns as we walk, please let us know so we can do what we can to address them.
