At Port Macquarie Little Athletics Centre, we believe every athlete deserves to be recognised for their commitment, effort and improvement throughout the season.
Our annual awards celebrate participation, personal achievement, sportsmanship and outstanding performances at both club and championship level.
Age Champion Awards
(Male & Female – Each Age Group)
Age Champion awards are determined using a points system that rewards attendance, participation, personal improvement and performance.

This points system encourages athletes to attend regularly, participate across a range of events, strive for personal improvement and celebrate success at every level.
Coaching Encouragement Awards
Our coaching team recognises athletes who demonstrate outstanding commitment, improvement, determination and enthusiasm throughout the season.
Awards are presented in the following disciplines:
- 🏃 Sprints
- 🏃♀️ Endurance
- 🥏 Throws
- 🤸 Jumps
These awards are not based solely on winning, but also on effort, attitude and personal development.
Championship Performance Awards
(Male & Female)
These awards recognise outstanding performances at Zone, Regional and State Championships.
Points are awarded based on an athlete's best four championship event results.

The athlete with the lowest total points across their best four events is declared the winner.
Please Note: An athlete may receive only one Championship Performance Award.
Tie-Breaker
If two or more athletes finish on equal points, performances will be compared using championship records.
Priority will be given to athletes who have broken a Zone, Regional or State Carnival Record.
Example:
If four athletes each finish with four points, but one athlete has broken a carnival record during competition, that athlete will be declared the overall winner.
Multi-Class Awards
Port Macquarie Little Athletics proudly recognises the achievements of our Multi-Class athletes.
Awards acknowledge participation, determination and outstanding performances throughout the season and at championship events.
Relay Team Recognition
Relay teams representing Port Macquarie Little Athletics at:
- Zone Championships
- Regional Championships
- State Championships
are recognised for their teamwork, commitment and achievements throughout the season.
