Play Volleyball
Get on the Court
Looking to play volleyball in Port Macquarie?
Whether you prefer indoor or beach, there are opportunities to get on court, meet other players and enjoy the game.
The Grizzlies are continuing to work towards creating more playing opportunities across the Port Macquarie-Hastings region. Here's how you can get involved right now.
Indoor Volleyball
Tuesday Night Social Competition
The Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium runs a weekly social volleyball competition on Tuesday nights.
Games run from approximately 6:00 pm until late, with teams playing throughout the evening.
The competition is a great option for anyone looking to play regular indoor volleyball in Port Macquarie, whether you're an experienced player or simply looking to get back on court.
Club Training
At this stage, the Grizzlies do not offer regular weekly training or development sessions due to limited access to suitable indoor court facilities.
We're continuing to explore opportunities to increase court access and hope to expand what we can offer as the club and the sport continue to grow.
We do, however, organise additional volleyball opportunities throughout the year, including representative teams, tournaments and other club events.
Beach Volleyball
Social Beach Volleyball
Want something a little more relaxed?
Members of the Grizzlies community regularly organise social beach volleyball sessionsin Port Macquarie.
These aren't formal club training sessions or competitions - they're simply a chance to get down to the courts, play some volleyball and meet other people in the local volleyball community.
Regular hit-outs are generally:
Thursday: approximately 4:00 pm–7:00 pm
Sunday: approximately 7:00 am–10:00 am
Times and sessions can vary depending on weather, availability and who's playing, so it's always worth checking before heading down.
Players of different experience levels are welcome, and you don't need to be part of a formal team to come along.
