About the NSW Phoenix Academy

The NSW Phoenix Volleyball Academy has the primary goal of developing athletes into elite volleyball players. This involves transitioning potential into talent by reinforcing positive performance habits and directing technical improvements for specific skills. Through guided training of the NSW Phoenix Head Coach Chris Todd and Assistant Coach Kelly Hunter, athletes are supported and educated to optimise their physical and mental performance at a high-level of play. This provides the framework for athletes to not only representing NSW in national events, but also to progress towards being identified for Volleyball Australia national development programs.

Selection for the NSW Phoenix Volleyball Academy is invitation only. NSW Phoenix coaches extend invitations to identified athletes that show potential talent and skills.

If you would like to be considered for inclusion in the Academy program, please send an email to vnsw.phoenix@volleyballnsw.com.au or fill out the EOI here.
