On payment of my membership fee I acknowledge that it is a condition of my membership of Australian Taekwondo that I am required to comply with all rules, procedures and policies of Australian Taekwondo including any resolutions and determinations made or passed By the Board or any duly authorised committee and I agree to do so fully understanding that my failure to do so may result in my membership of Australian Taekwondo being discontinued. Australian Taekwondo collects different types of personal information depending on the nature of our engagement with you. The primary purpose of collecting your personal information is to service you as a member; this includes communicating event and service information that directly relates to your membership with us. Outback Taekwondo

Acceptance of membership is at the sole discretion of the Head Instructor Cassandra Plain. Any questions or concerns please advise in writing to outbacktaekwondo@gmail.com within 1 month of receipt of these Terms and Conditions.

By applying for membership at Outback Taekwondo, I fully understand and agree to the following:

1. Every member of Outback Taekwondo shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. It is a members responsibility to read Terms and Conditions before signing the application form. By signing the application form, proceeding with registration online or in person, the Member is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. In consideration of being accepted as a student of Outback Taekwondo and the use of the facilities provided by Outback Taekwondo, I, my heirs, executives or assigns herewith release and absolve and agree to hold harmless Outback Taekwondo and the proprietor from any and all responsibilities in the event I receive any injuries sustained during instruction or practice on or around the premises.
3. I am full aware and assume full responsibility of any such injuries or damages which may occur, notwithstanding those covered by annual membership insurance. Student insurance is not intended to replace medical/hospital benefit insurance, but to compliment other insurance you may have in place.
4. I understand that there are risks and dangers in participating in martial arts activities and that in order to participate in Taekwondo, the student permits, represents and agrees that he/she/they is in good physical condition and that he/she/they have no disabilities, impairments or aliments preventing him/her/them from engaging in active and passive exercise or that will be detrimental to his/her/their health, safety, comfort or physical condition if he/she/they does so engage or participate.
5. Outback Taekwondo may choose to refuse your membership agreement until a. Your doctor agrees in writing that you are fit to exercise or b. You show proof that you have received medical advise on an appropriate exercise program.
6. I understand and agree that all participation in any such fitness program or use of Outback Taekwondo’s facilities or equipment on or off the premises of Outback Taekwondo shall be at my own risk.
7. I will abide by the Member Protection Policy, Codes of Conduct and Training Etiquette set out by Outback Taekwondo and conduct myself to uphold those policies in exchange for Outback Taekwondo membership and lessons received or yet to be received.
8. I will not teach any aspects of Taekwondo, under the impression of Outback Taekwondo outside of the Dojang unless between members of Outback Taekwondo / parents or guardians of the students registered as Outback Taekwondo or with the Head Instructor present.
9. I agree to pay Membership and Insurance Fees in full at the start of the training year or time of training commencement. I agree to pay training fees in full in accordance with the fees set down in the fees document unless agreed upon prior to training commencing between the proprietor and myself with written approval notification via email.
10. I agree that no credit or refund shall be made should I not attend classes for whatever reason, unless special circumstances and arrangements have been made prior to attending training.
11. It is up to myself to keep information promptly updated to any changed in address, phone number, email or any other personal information that is relevant to your membership with Outback Taekwondo.
12. I have read and understood this document and I am aware that by signing this agreement that I am wavering certain legal rights which I or my heirs, next of kin, executives or assigns may have against Outback Taekwondo.
13. I also certify that the information provided on the membership application or registration online, is accurate and recognizing that by providing any false information can result in immediate termination of membership from Outback Taekwondo without recourse or refund of membership or training fees.
