Joint Officials Advisory Committee + Subcommittees

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving our systems, we have conducted a comprehensive review of the Terms of Reference for all committees and subcommittees related to technical officials and workforce matters. This review aims to streamline processes, eliminate duplication, and align more effectively with the unified NSWAP competition pathway we now share.

Terms of Reference

 

Joint Officials Advisory Committee

The Joint Officials Advisory Committee will provide leadership and direction in officiating matters and ensure consistent standards across NSW. The 2025 members are:

  • Angela Stephens-Kinch
  • Colin Muir
  • Daniel Bliss
  • Dennis Coker
  • Jackie Gilroy
  • Lee Brigandi

Their experience and leadership will be instrumental in guiding policies, improving practices, and supporting the officiating community at all levels.

Education Subcommittee

Tasked with the delivery and development of training opportunities and resources for officials, the Education Subcommittee members are:

Appointments Subcommittee

The Appointments Subcommittee oversees the appointment process for officials across NSW Athletics events, ensuring fairness, transparency and consistency. Members appointed for 2025 are:

Recruitment, Retention & Welfare Subcommittee
