Northern Sydney and Beaches Hockey Association

Welcome to the Largest Hockey Association in NSW

The NSB Hockey Association covers an area of 850 square kilometres taking in several Local Government Areas including North Sydney, Mosman, Pennant Hills, Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, Willoughby, Lane Cove and the Northern Beaches stretching from Manly through to Palm Beach.

This NFP (Not-for-Profit) Association's primary objectives are to protect and promote the interests of hockey across the north shore and beaches corridor of Sydney. We welcome anyone to help our volunteer commitees in this endeavour.

NSB has over 6,000 participants (including players, officials, representative players and school girls), and features 14 hockey clubs. The Association has access to the Pennant Hills Turf Fields, Ku-ring-gai Hockey Centre, the half field at Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen, the grass fields at Frank Gray Oval, Curl Curl and Forsyth Park Neutral Bay and the indoor hockey facilities at the Marie Bashir Mosman Sports Centre, Willoughby Leisure Centre, Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen and at Abbotsleigh, Wahroongah.

  • NSBHA is one of six hockey associations in the Greater Sydney region. These Associations select players from their clubs to represent the Association at the NSW State Championships.
  • NSBHA provides opportunities for all ages and abilities to play and enjoy the game of hockey both indoor and outdoor.
  • It caters for junior boys and girls, senior women and men, masters and representative player
