Uniforms & Mallets
The Club's uniform colours are navy blue and white, and should be worn on all occasions. Navy or white shirts may be worn with white or navy pants. Shirts bearing the Club's new logo in either navy or white, short or long-sleeved, and are available to purchase from The Uniform Place, Beresford St, Newcastle West.
Uniforms are required for general club play but mandatory for competitions.
Name badges can be ordered from Purnell Trophies, 194 Maitland Road Islington.
Sew on patches are available for purchase at the club. Please note that sturdy, flat-soled shoes must be worn. Thongs, sandals, "ballet flats" and open-toed shoes are not permitted. Ripple soled shoes are also not permitted as they may damage the lawns.
All members are encouraged to purchase their own mallets. You are welcome to use a club mallet until you purchase your own, but they are primarily for coaching and cannot be used outside the Club without committee permission.
Three different brands of mallets have recently been purchased/ discounted for members to trial while considering purchase. The club appreciates the discounts provided by these suppliers.
Members sell second hand or new items of equipment in the clubhouse.
