💦COME JOIN IN THE FUN – TERM 4 LOCAL WATER POLO

We’re excited to open registrations for our Term 4, 2026 Friday Night Games — a fun, local competition for all boys and girls, including new players, school players, Academy players, and Metro players.

Games will run from Friday 16 October to Friday 4 December (8 weeks) at Manly Swim Centre (MAC) and Warringah Aquatic Centre (WAC).

Important: All players must know the team name they are registering under. If a group of friends wishes to play together, please form your own team and choose a team name.

If you are not part of a team, select ‘no team’ during registration and you will be allocated to a team needing players.

🎉Membership Information

We are opening Term 4 entries before the season rollover on 26 September 2026.

• Current members who register before 26 September will receive their annual membership fee ($25+ merch fee) complimentary.
• After rollover, all previous memberships will be archived.
• From 26 September 2026 Returning players must complete the RETURNING MEMBER registration and pay the annual membership fee.

Social 16’s – Warringah Aquatic Centre

Open to Boys & Girls Born 2012–2010

• Fast 4’s format
• 4 players start (teams ideally have 6 players)
• 4 x 4‑minute quarters
• Perfect for all abilities — especially new players wanting to “give it a go”

Friendly 14’s – Manly Swim Centre & WAC

Open to:

• Boys & Girls Born 2013 & 2014 experienced/Metro Born 2015
• Games scheduled around 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm & 8:30pm (subject to entries)

Terrific 12’s – Manly Swim Centre & WAC

Open to:

• Boys & Girls Born 2015 & 2016experienced Born 2017 (competent in deep water + completed a term of Flippaball Skills)

·        Games scheduled 7pm–8:30pm (subject to entries)

📅Season Details

• Dates: Friday 16 October – Friday 4 December (8 weeks)

• Times: Games at 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm, 8:30pm
• Teams: Boys, Girls or Mixed (preference for separate gender teams depending on entries)

🔧Modified Tournament Rules

For Friendly 14’s & Terrific 12’s:

• 6 players (5 field + GK)
• Rotate GK where possible
• Size 3 ball for Rookie 12’s
• Size 4 ball for Social 16’s & Friendly 14’s
• Game time: 4 x 5‑minute quarters (Friendly 14’s & Terrific 12’s)
• Social 16’s: 4 x 4‑minute quarters

To Register:-

STEP 1  -  All NEW players/participants (those who have not participated in a water polo program with "The Water Polo School", (previously named the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy ) are required to register as a New Member of "The Water Polo School" and pay the annual membership fee.

Players who have registered in previous season are to renew their membership as a Returning Member of "The Water Polo School" and pay the annual membership fee.

Once completed you will be emailed a username and password (please check spam emails).  Please save this information, as you require this to login to register for the event/program/session you wish to attend each term.

STEP 2  -  Registering for the EVENT, Click on the EVENTS tab on the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy - The Water Polo School  home page... and complete the details.

Late registrations will only be accepted if there are spots available and will incur an extra $25 fee.
