Flippa Ball Introduction

Published Mon 15 Sep 2025

The Narrabri Dolphins Water Polo Club is excited to announce the launch of its brand new Flippa Ball program for the 2025/2026 season, providing a fun and engaging entry point into water polo for children aged under 12.

Flippa Ball is a modified version of water polo designed specifically for younger players. With smaller balls, shallow water, and simplified rules, the program focuses on building swimming skills, water confidence, teamwork, and having fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Narrabri Dolphins Club President Todd Dunn said the introduction of Flippa Ball marks an important milestone in the Club’s growth:

“We’re thrilled to bring Flippa Ball to Narrabri. It’s a fantastic way for children to gain water skills while enjoying a fun, team-based sport. We know this program will be a great stepping stone into water polo and will encourage more families to get involved in our club community.”

The Flippa Ball program will run throughout the 2025/2026 season at Narrabri Aquatic Centre, with sessions held on Tuesday's from 5:30pm weekly. In addition to the community program, Narrabri Dolphins are working with local primary schools to introduce the Flippa Ball program to Stage 3 students throughout the 2025 / 2026 season.
