Registration for the 2023-24 season

All paddlers MUST be registered with Dragon Boats NSW (DBNSW).  DBNSW is the governing body for dragon boating in NSW and a member of the Australian Dragon Boat Federation (AusDBF).

A club membership fee is also payable to Narooma Blue Water Dragons (NBWD).

The fees for this season are:

DBNSW - Adult Membership (over 24 years) - $120 (full 12 months from the date you join).

NBWD - Club Fee - from 1 March 2024 until 30 June 2024 , the club fee is $50 (half price).

Step 1: Register with DBNSW

If you are a current member (or have registered for dragon boating in past years) click on the "Returning Member" button below to pay your DBNSW registration by credit or debit card.

If you are joining dragon boating for the first time click on the "New Member" button to register and pay.

Please ensure you complete or tick all the fields marked with an asterisk (*)!

Step 2: NBWD Club Fee

Club membership fees are to be paid by direct deposit to NBWD National Australia Bank (NAB) account.

Make sure your name is referenced to the deposit so we know who the payment is from.  Cash payment can also be made to Susan (Treasurer) or Donna (Secretary). If you have any problems, or financial difficulties, please see Susan or Donna.

***Life Members are only required to pay the DBNSW registration fee.***

Please note: New paddlers who register and join the NBWD club for a FULL season are eligible to receive a free club cap.  Club shirts (short or long-sleeve), singlet tops and jackets are available to purchase. See the price list and how to purchase on the Uniforms page.

All members need to abide by the Australian Dragon Boat Federation (AusDBF) National Code of Conduct.  A copy of the Code of Conduct is available to download here.

All members who cannot swim 50 metres in their paddling clothes must wear a personal flotation device (PFD)/life jacket.  A limited number of PFDs are available at our boat shed for paddlers to use.
