Southern Warriors Pan Pacs 2024
The 13th Pan Pacific Masters Games on Gold Coast is held from 1 – 10 November 2024.Dragon boats compete from Thursday 7 – Saturday 9 November 2024 (7:30am – 5:00pm daily) at Lake Orr Parklands, 337 Christine Ave, Varsity Lakes
Dragon Boating is from
Thursday 7 November 2024 – 500m
Friday 8 November 2024 – 200m
Saturday 9 November 2024 – Around the Island (standard boats only)
Age is determined as at 31 December 2024
- Minimum age for competition is 40 years
- Snr A 40+: Open, Mixed and Women in both small and standard
- Snr 55+: Open, Mixed and Women in both small and standard
- Around the Island: All Divisions – Standard only
Boats being used are all standard boats (20s) only
BEFORE REGISTERING ON THE PAN PACS WEBSITE, PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME ON REVSPORT SO WE CAN WORK OUT WHAT TEAMS AND RACES WE CAN ACTUALLY ENTER. YOU WILL THEN RECEIVE AN INVITE TO JOIN SIGN UP AND PAY YOUR FEES.
We are inviting Nature Coast, Jindabyne and Illawarra to join us.
To assist with planning we are closing registrations on the 30th of April. If we have enough paddlers at this time we will HARD CLOSE, if we need more paddlers we will go looking for more paddlers to join us.
Costs – a rough breakdown
Registration fees are two parts, a Games Fee paid for entry to the Pan Pacs and individual sport fees.
Competitor:
Early bird $130 (1 March – 31 May 2024)
Saver $145 (1 June – 31 August 2024)
Standard $155 (from 1 September 2024)
Non-Playing Official: $95
As well as $75 sport fee to enter the Dragon Boat event.
Accommodation
Has been booked at the Phoenician apartments in Broadbeach from Wednesday 6 Nov – Sunday 10 Nov 2024. The cost for the four nights will be approximately $380 per person.
Car Hire
This expected to be around $100 per person. Cars are required to get to and from the regatta centre. Some people will have their own car but just putting this in case it’s needed.
Flights
Approximate flight costs are $800 return from Merimbula or about $600 from Canberra.
