MEMBER PROTECTION INFORMATION OFFICER (MPIO)

A Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) provides information about the rights, responsibilities, and options available to an individual making a complaint in in Member Protection Policy for specific sports. MPIOs are impartial and do not mediate or investigate complaints. They may reside in a club, state association or national sports organisations.

Member Protection Information Officers play an important role in sport. They are the 'go to' person if you want to discuss problems at your club, particularly if you are considering making a formal complaint. All conversations are confidential
