Our Term 2 program starts Thursday 24th April 2025.

Hookin2Hockey is delivered over several weeks and gives your child the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills, and make friends, all while beginning his/her lifelong hockey journey.

The H2H program is the best way to become familiar with the great game of hockey in a safe and friendly environment.

The program:

• Is delivered by Mentone Hockey Club members and was nominated for the 2024 “Hookin2Hockey Club of the Year” award.
• is for girls and boys between 5 and 11 years old (prep until year 6).  Older beginners are catered for at Mentone Hockey Club just contact the email above.
• is an introductory program to hockey for juniors
• has skill based games
• runs in a fun and safe environment
• is an official program of Hockey Australia

Our Hookin2Hockey program will run on

• Thursday evenings: 5:15 - 6:00 pm
• From 24th April to 26th June 2025
• Equipment can be provided by the Mentone Hockey Club
• Children are to wear sports clothing and runners.

Hockey Australia's official junior program allows kids to make friends and have fun in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment!

• An introductory program that caters for all abilities

• Learn essential physical literacy skills whilst playing games
