The Mentone Hockey Club Hookin2Hockey program in 2024, started in February 2024 and will continue into Term 2.

Hookin2Hockey is delivered across a number of weeks and gives your child the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills, make friends and have fun all while beginning their HOCKEY journey.

This program is designed for participants to learn the basics in a safe, controlled and friendly environment.

The program:

• Is delivered by experienced members of the Mentone Hockey Club 
• is for girls and boys ideally between 5 and 11 years of age (Older & younger children are welcome and can be catered for)
• is an introductory program to hockey for juniors
• has skill based games
• runs across Term 2
• runs in a fun and safe environment
• is an official program of Hockey Australia

Our Hookin2Hockey program will run on a Thursday night 5.15pm to 6.00pm

Should you and your child wish, they can continue their hockey journey by playing in a small round robin competition on a Saturday morning for U8's & U10's.  Please speak to your coach if you wish to join.
