Masters two from Two

Great wins last night in the Masters grand finals. Two from two. Grade 2 Premiers - (VRC 1) Kevin, Phil, Christian, Graeme, Shane and John Grade 3 Premiers - (VRC 3) Lao, Aaron, Lorraine, Alf, Peter, Jeannette and Sue. Congrats also to (VRC 2) Greg, Nigel, Don, Sue, Eric, David, Mal and Libby who finished as minor premiers for the season in grade 3. Thanks to the VMSA for organising and running this pennant over many years.

MD / VRC Award Winners

We had a fun afternoon at VRC on Saturday with around 40 people taking advantage of the free courts and the free snags. Thanks to Darrin Brooke and Dan Photopoulos for instigating the event and Dan Jones for being awards co presenter. Thanks also to James for providing the courts and all the MD committee for their help and support on the day. So here's the list of winners!

The 2025 Mountain District Open Squash Championships

The MD Champs have been run and won. Congratulations to Sarah Cardwell, winner of the Women's Open and Andre Lynn the winner of the Men's. Some bloody good matches. Thanks to all our players and volunteers

The Spring 2024 Finals wrap

Our VRC/MD teams had another great Spring season with grand final appearances for two teams in SSL Open A Res, two teams in Div 4 ESRA Raquetball, two teams on Friday morning, and two teams in Masters.

Coaching Open Day @VRC This Saturday 1/6!

Selena ran our first two hour pop up racquetball event last Saturday at the VRC with around 20 people participating. Looks like everyone had a good time! This Saturday (1/6) F8 (Selena's coaching business) is having a Coaching Open Day at the VRC from 9:30 to 2 with lots of opportunities to participate in both Squash and Racquetball. (Poster with details below). Be quick, spots are limited! We've also attached a survey asking about your interest in coaching and the times that suit you.
