More Information
Regular memberships have been condensed to make affiliation simpler for all players. There are now three categories. Each category combines both Squash and Racquetball. The membership levels increase in cost as engagement with the sport escalates.
- Social Membership is designed for players who play at a club and interact with their internal programs (including club-run social squash programs, club-run competitions / leagues and club-run coaching) and includes personal accident insurance while on court and the Basic SquashLevels membership.
With a Social Membership, a player will be able to join internal competitions and leagues set up by clubs through the RevSport platform. This will facilitate clubs in running programs which both its Social and Local members can join together. This has replaced the Lifestyle Membership to better reflect the target demographic for this membership.
- Local Membership is designed for players who play competitively in inter-club competitions (including the Metro Melbourne Pennant and Southern Squash League) and state sanctioned tournaments (such as the Victorian Open) and includes 24/7 personal accident insurance and the Gold SquashLevels membership.
- Compete Membership is designed for players who play competitively at national and PSA tournaments (including the Australian Open, the Australian Team Championships and other international PSA events) and includes 24/7 worldwide personal accident insurance and the Platinum SquashLevels membership.
There are lower cost versions of these memberships for juniors.
There are several other adhoc membership types set out below.
- Tournament Pass is a new offering providing for a one-off pass for a single tournament in the financial year. This is suitable for those players who are not Local Members and just want to play in their club-run annual tournament (e.g. Ballarat Tournament, or Victorian Racquetball Championships).
- Squash Pass is a new offering which is free and is designed for those wanting to try squash for the first time before committing to a membership. This will provide multi-club access to participating clubs within the 12 week free trial period. Further details of the Squash Pass will be provided shortly.
- Support Membership is designed for coaches, referees, administrators and volunteers who are not playing the sport and includes 24/7 professional indemnity insurance and discounted training courses and resources.
- Digital Membership is designed for those who want to stay connected with what’s happening in squash and racquetball.
