You’ve decided to take the step towards being part of TeamAUS at the 2027 Pan American Maccabi Games, and we’re excited to have you with us!

From the moment you nominate, you’re beginning a journey that brings together sport, friendship, Jewish connection and the pride of representing Australia.

This is your opportunity to represent Australia wearing the green and gold, compete in your sport and connect with Jewish athletes from around the world. Along the way, you’ll make new friends, experience a new country and create memories that will last long after the Games are over.

Whether this is your first international Maccabi Games or you’ve represented Australia before, we’re excited that you’re choosing to being part of the journey.

Completing Your Nomination

If you have previously created an account with RevolutioniseSPORT through a Maccabiah or Pan American Games, Junior Carnival or club registration, select “Returning Member” and enter your National Member ID number, or your date of birth and surname.

If you do not have an existing account, select “New Member” and create an account to complete your nomination.

What You’ll Need

Please have the following ready:

• A clear headshot photo to upload
• Your passport details
• Your Medicare card
• Your private medical insurance details
• A credit card to pay the nomination fee
• A copy of your CV and cover letter, if applying as an official

We ask for this information in the event of a medical episode during trials or training we have your details to provide support and assistance.

Cost to Nominate

• Individual sports: $110
• Team sports or sports requiring a team selection session: $420
  This includes the cost of the team selection session.

Refund and Credit Information

1.    Insufficient participants: If Maccabi Australia or the Organising Committee in Uruguay cannot proceed with your sport due to insufficient participants, your nomination fee will be refunded, less a $55 administration fee.

2.    Individual sports: If you do not qualify, your nomination fee will be refunded, less a $55 administration fee.

3.    Change of mind: If you withdraw on or before 30 December 2026, your nomination fee will be refunded, less a $55 administration fee. After this date, preparations for team selection sessions will begin and the $420 team sport nomination fee will be non-refundable, except if your sport cannot proceed as outlined in point 1.

4.    No team trials required: If your team does not require trials, $365 of your nomination fee will be credited towards your first invoice.

5.    Not selected following trials: If you attend team trials and are not selected, your nomination fee will not be refunded.

6.    Unable to attend team trials: If trials take place and you are unable to attend, your nomination fee will not be refunded, regardless of whether you are selected.

Team Standards and Integrity

Representing Australia at the 2027 Pan American Maccabi Games is a privilege and an opportunity to be part of a team that reflects the values of Maccabi Australia, including respect, integrity, sportsmanship, inclusion and community. Maccabi Australia is committed to providing a safe, respectful and positive environment for all athletes, coaches, managers and officials. Everyone involved in Team AUS shares responsibility for upholding these standards and contributing to a supportive and inclusive team culture.

As part of the application and selection process, all prospective Team members will be required to acknowledge and agree to comply with Maccabi Australia's Code of Conduct, relevant Integrity Policies, Team rules and reasonable directions from Team management.

To protect the safety, wellbeing and integrity of Team AUS, Maccabi Australia reserves the right to review an application, decline selection, or suspend or revoke Team membership where there are reasonable grounds for concern, including where an individual has:

• Engaged in conduct that constitutes a serious breach of Maccabi Australia's Code of Conduct or relevant Integrity Policies or conduct that may bring Team AUS or Maccabi Australia into disrepute.
• Been charged with or convicted of a serious criminal offence, including offences involving violence, sexual misconduct, drugs or other matters relevant to their suitability to participate in or represent Team AUS.
• Intentionally or seriously breached Team rules or reasonable directions from Team management.

Any such matters will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account their nature, seriousness, relevance and surrounding circumstances.

Maccabi Australia is committed to ensuring that decisions are made fairly, consistently and in accordance with its relevant policies and procedures. Where concerns arise, individuals will ordinarily be given an opportunity to respond before a final decision is made, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the safety or wellbeing of others.

Applicants are required to disclose any relevant matters outlined above during the application process and to notify the Head of International Games if any such circumstances arise following selection.

Our aim is to ensure that every member of Team AUS can participate with confidence, feel supported and take pride in representing Australia and the Maccabi community.
